No problem can be addressed effectively until it is correctly identified.

Climate change has not been correctly identified.

The Problem:

When most people think of climate change they think of the weather; things like heat waves, floods, droughts and storms.
These are just the symptoms of climate change.
They are not the cause.

The Earth’s climate changes based on the amount of thermal energy in the atmosphere; more thermal energy means more extreme weather. How much the climate will change can be determined by the Carbon Ratio®. This is the ratio of the amount of carbon human activity has put back in the atmosphere since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution (the numerator of the Carbon Ratio®), divided by the total amount of carbon in the atmosphere before the Earth began to cool (the denominator of the Carbon Ratio®).
For our civilization to continue indefinitely the Carbon Ratio® needs to be one. In 2022 the Carbon Ratio® was 6.7.

“The problem in explaining climate change is not ignorance, it’s the illusion of knowledge.”

Earth Ship Program

Earth Ship Limited, Inc. is a 501(C)3 charity and the Earth Ship Program is an extremely cost-effective way to tell the world the truth about climate change.

Our leaders, in government and industry, cannot and will not tell the public the truth about climate change. This assumes they even know the truth, and there is little sign of that.

The Earth Ship Program is the most cost effective way to tell the world the TRUTH about climate change.

CLIMATE CHANGE

Easy to understand

Climate change is the greatest threat mankind has ever faced. This is easy to understand by looking at the Carbon Ratio.

THE FACTS

The Public Is Not Being Told

Why are extreme weather events lagging behind CO2 emissions? There are five main reasons.

THE CARBON RATIO

How To Caclulate What Is Happening

A technique to calculate how close mankind is to an unpleasant future.

Important Facts About Climate Change

The number of carbon molecules on Earth is same today as it was when the Earth was first formed. All that has change is the location of the carbon.

Once fossil fuels are taken out of the Earth and burned, and the CO2 released back into the atmosphere, the Carbon Ratio has been changed – forever.
Reducing your carbon footprint will slow the accumulation of CO2 in the atmosphere, but it won’t fix the problem.
